At 18 years old Benyamin must say goodbye to his father who joins the Jewish rebellion during the Roman invasion of Jerusalem set in 66-70 AD. Benyamin, proactively seeking his father’s approval and love, tries to make ends meet for his family. As the gritty drama unfolds Benyamin battles heavy pressure from the Roman invaders, his own family and contemplates the meaning of true masculinity.
